Established in 2005, Minnesota Wirewerks is a custom wire harness solution manufacturer. These subassemblies are used daily in many of the products you rely on at work, home and play.

Wires come in all shapes, sizes and lengths. Each one of these characteristic has a purpose. A harness is a group of wires covered with one or more layers of protection that are terminated at each end. Protection is usually an insulation barrier made of PVC to isolate the energy on the wire from adjacent wires. There may also be an outer jacket made of Nylon, Silica or Cotton protecting the wire(s) from the surrounding environment (heat, metal, dogs, etc.) or for aesthetic reasons. Termination can be as simple as two ring terminals connecting the light switch on the dash of your 1940s car to the Guide headlamps mounted on the front of the vehicle. Or it can be as challenging as connecting the computer in your 1996 car to all the sensors and controlling units in the engine.
